Sr Solutions Architect
Reports to: [VP of Sales / CTO]
Focus: Detection Engineering, Field Strategy, & Technical Advocacy
Location: Flexible within USA, East Coast or Central Timezone preferred
The Role
As our Solutions Architect at Reveal, you will be the primary technical bridge between our most strategic customers and our product vision.
We are looking for a former Blue Team practitioner who has experience with Detection Engineering—someone who understands the pain of the SOC and has the technical “chops” to build, test, and optimize detections that solve real-world problems. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with common identity security products and will have implemented solutions for detecting credential abuse and insider threats. This role is designed for a technical leader who wants to influence the market through thought leadership and help shape the future of our product.
What You’ll Do
Who You Are
● The Practitioner: You have a deep background in Blue Team operations (SOC, IR, or Threat Hunting). You’ve lived the life of an analyst and know what “good” looks like.
● The Architect: You have experience with Detection Engineering, with a proven ability to build and tune detections based on frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
● The Communicator: You possess the “soft skills” to command a room. You can navigate a deep technical dive with a researcher and then pivot to a value-based discussion with a C-level executive.
● The Builder: You aren’t satisfied with the status quo. You have a natural desire to push products to their limit and a passion for making the industry safer for everyone.
Technical Requirements
● Experience: 7+ years in Cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a practitioner role
(SOC/IR) and 2+ years in a customer-facing or engineering-heavy role.
● Skills: Proficiency in detection logic (e.g., YARA, Sigma, KQL, Python) and a deep understanding of EDR/XDR/ITDR/SIEM and IAM architectures.
● Presence: Previous experience in public speaking, technical blogging, or community engagement is highly preferred.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000 per year
Variable Compensation: This role is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
Equity: As an early hire, you will receive a meaningful equity grant as part of our Field CTO track.
Final compensation is determined by various factors, including relevant experience, specialized technical skills, and geographic location.
The Career Path: Why Join Us?
This role is specifically designed for a high-performer on the Field CTO track. You will have a front-row seat to the business of cybersecurity, the authority to influence product direction, and a platform to build your personal brand as a national thought leader.
