Job Description
We are seeking an intern Information Security Operations Coordinator to help streamline and manage our cybersecurity efforts. This is a part-time position (50%), ideal for candidates seeking flexible hours. In this role, you will play a critical part in organizing and leading our virtual CISO committee, ensuring key security operations and decisions are executed. You will be responsible for consolidating and presenting key findings from our security tools, managing committee meetings, and ensuring follow-through on action items. Job Responsibilities
- Daily Monitoring & Consolidation: Continuously monitor security tools (e.g., Snyk, AWS GuardDuty, Inspector) and consolidate findings, ensuring all relevant issues are captured and tracked.
- Issue Resolution Coordination: Based on established procedures, communicate findings to appropriate personnel, ensuring prompt action is taken and continuously monitoring the resolution of security issues.
- Weekly Status Reporting: Prepare and summarize weekly status updates for the virtual CISO committee, presenting the findings and progress on security measures.
- Task Assignment & Tracking: Translate committee decisions into actionable tasks, assign them to the relevant teams, and track execution to ensure timely completion.
- Third-Party Security Compliance: Assist in responding to security questionnaires from third-party customers and prospects, ensuring thorough and accurate representation of the company’s security posture.

- Academic Background: An academic background in information security or a related field is a strong advantage.
